ARTIST’S STATEMENT

We are all born as asymmetrical beings.

My uncommon human figures are represented in an asymmetrical balance, inspired by challenges of human life and his survival, as well as the psychological deconstruction of the human, such as memories, emotions, thoughts, and the state of spirits…
In life, there is always an unstable balance between the diversity of humans, their strengths, cultures, ideologies and religions… Knowing that a complete balance is impossible, life inevitably goes on… Nonetheless, despite difficulties, and hardships, I seamlessly reflect the human statement into my work. In fact, my characters are vigorous pleas for peace and love.

The human figure is always the main subject of my works, body movements, facial expressions, emotions and thoughts have been the center of my attention.
The spirit of surrealism has influenced the way I deconstruct my figures, I always see the human as a surrealistic being.

Sculptural metal elements are incorporated in some of my paintings, to show the artificial intelligence of humans. These elements are creations of human biological forms which symbolize human body parts after deconstruction. Thus, they portray the reconstruction of humans with technological thoughts.
All my figures have a line that divides the face, which represents the line between the earth and the sky, the link between the man and his destiny, and grids under the eyes symbolize every individual’s inner cage.

I chose to be a figurative artist to show my concern with the human condition.
